Flames from the Geysers Fire outside of Calistoga, California. The burnout that night sent a shower of embers which are more visible in the large format version of the movie than the smaller version that plays automatically on this site. The embers are even more visible on the DVD version. Surprisingly, it started only a few spot fires.
